Black Creek is a larger working Competition Chopper knife with a long, squared blade made from 1095 steel and a substantial feel in the hand. Each one starts as raw steel and is shaped in our home forge, then ground and finished by hand. The twisted handle and remaining forge texture are intentionally left visible rather than polished away.
This is a straightforward, hardworking blade made for practical use around the homestead, shop, or camp. Because Black Creek is made one at a time rather than mass-produced, the exact finish, hammer marks, and small details will vary from knife to knife.
